While I can often work as a one man army in the space of building niche computers for gaming, general use, and networking solutions. I have worked with others in the past on many projects other than IT.
My background consists of IT work but I am also a creative at heart.
I have worked on collaborative projects such as video editing, and high end gaming content collaboration, this is usually done in my free time!
When it came to school work I have worked on many collaborative efforts from presentations to live implementation of software.
A current project I am working on with some of my peers is an on-prem chat solution called Rocket.Chat.
That project went quite smoothly all things considered, I handled some conflicts inside the group in a professional manner, and did my best to mediate while implementing the solution on my Proxmox Home lab, This project taught me a lot about the importance of remaining professional when conflict arises, along with the importance of communicating in a professional manner to ensure deadlines are met, and production is on the move.
Teamwork isn’t just about grouping individuals together and awaiting the best outcome. It’s about creating environment where trust, open communication, mutual respect, and a shared vision meet together as one.
